Contract signed for delivery of open-berth cars to Tajikistan

JSC TVSRZ (TVZ) and the Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Tajikistan have signed a contract for the manufacture and delivery of 24 model 61-951 open-berth passenger cars.

The document was signed as part of TVZ's expanding export cooperation with Central Asian countries. The cars will operate on railway routes in the Republic of Tajikistan.

Delivery of the first batch is scheduled for Q3 2026. All cars will comply with TR TS 001/2011 requirements and will undergo the necessary certification for operation on the Tajik railway network.

The contract is TVZ's second major export agreement after the delivery of 61-950 cars to Kazakhstan in 2023.
