Open-berth car 61-951 receives TR TS 001/2011 certificate

Testing completed and safety certificate obtained. The car is approved for operation on the CIS railway network.

JSC TVSRZ (TVZ) has successfully completed certification of the 61-951 open-berth passenger car in accordance with Technical Regulation TR TS 001/2011.

Certification testing was conducted throughout 2021. All major car characteristics were verified: body strength, running qualities, passenger safety, fire safety systems and electrical equipment.

The 61-951 open-berth car accommodates 54 sleeping berths with a maximum speed of 160 km/h. The car is certified for operation on the railway networks of all Customs Union member states.

In 2022, the first serial batch of 12 model 61-951 cars was delivered to Uzbekiston Temir Yo'llari.
