First major export contract signed with JSC Kazakhstan Temir Zholy

JSC TVSRZ (TVZ) and JSC Kazakhstan Temir Zholy (KTZ) have signed a contract for the delivery of model 61-950 compartment passenger cars for inclusion in passenger trains of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The document was signed during an official visit by a KTZ delegation to TVZ's production facility in Tashkent.

To fulfil the contract, the 61-950 cars were additionally certified for operation on Kazakhstan's railway network.

The KTZ contract became TVZ's first major export agreement, opening the enterprise to CIS railway transport markets.
